It was such an honour to capture this milestone for this fine young man celebrating his Seijin Shiki (Japanese Coming of Age)!
As a videographer himself, he’s usually the one behind the lens—so seeing him step into the spotlight was a treat. With his family cheering him on from the sidelines and making him laugh, he naturally shined in front of the camera.
I love how this session brought everything full circle: honouring his roots in a classic, traditional kimono, while bringing in a touch of childhood nostalgia with balloons of his favourite character, Anpan man !!!
