Canada Yosakoi Team KAEDE is the dance team based on Toronto and Ottawa. Yosakoi is the dance originated in Kochi, Japan and performed by lots of dance lovers worldwide. I had a great opportunity to capture some fun moments during their rehearsal for the dance festival in Andrew Haydon Park of Ottawa in early July. They did fabulous performance !! Wonderful job for all dancers !

On March 11, Japan commemorates 10th year after the devastation by massive earthquake and tsunami in Tohoku region. We pray for Japan and all people who continue to strive for recovery, including my sister and her family in Iwaki, Fukushima.
Here in Canada, March 11 is now designated for National day of remembrance for COVID-19 victims. Prayer for whole world, hope for the future, and strength to go through together.
I was extremely pleased that this summer both my husband and I were invited to my relative’s wedding in Okinawa, Japan. Not only it is super exciting to visit the vacation paradise, but also I was thrilled to be a secondary photographer of the celebration day. My photos are very casual and candid shots compared to the official photographer’s but I had a great time entertaining guests and share the happiness together as a part of the family. I am so thankful to my cousins family giving me a wonderful opportunity to capture joyful moments.
