The holiday season is usually a whirlwind of deadlines and decorations, but every once in a while, I have a session that reminds me exactly why I love being a photographer. This day’s shoot with the Scrims Florist team was exactly that.

From the moment I walked into the space, the energy was electric. It’s rare to see a team so deeply connected to what they create. As they prepped their latest products for the holiday rush, I wasn’t just capturing items on a shelf; I was capturing the care, detail, and pride that goes into every single piece they produce.

When a team cares this much about their products, it makes my job easy—the quality speaks for itself through the lens.

This session reminded me that the best brands are built by people who actually enjoy working together. Thank you to Scrims Florist for letting me document your hard work and super joyful holiday cheer !!

I had an incredible opportunity to work with the executive team of CDI, Le Comité sur la diversité et l’inclusion de la Section de droit civil de l’Université d’Ottawa.

For their session, we selected the Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS) building in the university. Between the soaring glass structures and the lush, stunning five-story wall, the backdrop was as sophisticated as the team itself. It was the perfect environment to capture their collective professional spirit as they gear up for their upcoming initiatives.

I feel truly privileged to have been entrusted with capturing the CDI executive team’s vision. I was deeply impressed by the drive and collective spirit of every member I met. I hope the images are useful for their new activities !

Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of heading out into this winter wonderland for a portrait session that is truly magical. I want to give a huge thanks to my wonderful clients for braving the biting cold and drifts—it wasn’t just a photo shoot; it was an adventure!

The star of the show was a magnificent “gentle giant”. Seeing his massive paws kick up fresh powder while he stayed perfectly attuned to his owner’s side was breathtaking. 

In the freezing air, I saw the warmth of their bond. Whether it was a quiet lean against a leg or a snowy nose-nudge, these are the moments that make winter sessions so rewarding.

Thank you for trusting me to capture these memories. It was cold, yes, but the results are nothing short of magical.

What an absolute honour it was to capture this Japanese wedding session!

This celebration was incredibly close to my heart. Since the groom’s mother is a long-time friend of mine, I have actually known him since he was a baby! Transitioning from watching him grow up to capturing the moment he started his own family was a truly personal and emotional experience.

The day was a stunning blend of heritage and new beginnings. From the intricate details of their attire to the way they looked at one another, every moment felt like a masterpiece.

Huge congratulations to the happy couple! I hope these gorgeous photos become cherished memories as you begin your beautiful new life together.

Défilé Fauteux is working energetically in preparing for the third edition of the fashion show, a student-led initiative that organizes an annual non-profit event at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law. The Fauteux Fashion Show is dedicated to showcasing the creativity and talent within their faculty, all while promoting inclusion, diversity, and equity. 

This year, they’re launching a bold and cinematic concept. To reflect this, we chose a powerful spot-lighting technique that delivered fashionable, sharp, and high-impact images.

I feel truly privileged to have been trusted to capture this incredible team’s energy. This marks our second collaboration, and I am consistently impressed and proud of their drive, passion, and spirit of every single organizing committee member.

It was an absolute pleasure to photograph the executive team AÉND, Association des étudiant.e.s noir.e.s en droit civil de l’Université d’Ottawa.

They chose Parliament Hill and the surrounding iconic locations as their photo location. The timeless elegance of the Supreme Court and the vibrant autumn foliage didn’t just frame them—it perfectly mirrored their dynamic energy and keen determination.

I am truly privileged to have been trusted with documenting this team’s new start. I look forward to seeing the 2025-2026 Executive Team’s influential contributions in the year ahead.

On the beautiful autumn evening, I had a wonderful time of capturing this energetic team ADTE, Association du droit du travail et de l’emploi de l’Université d’Ottawa

The historic Rideau Canal served as a timeless setting for this professional portrait session, perfectly framing their dynamic spirit and bright ambition of the law students. Even a few friendly ducks joined the scene, enhancing the already picturesque setting! The sunset of this autumn evening added superb lighting for every shot.

The National Art Gallery of Canada provided a stunning backdrop for our professional profile shoot with the incredible team, ADCCUO, Association de droit criminel et carcéral de l’Université d’Ottawa. What should have been a standard day, however, became an unexpected test of character.

I was completely blown away by this team’s patience and absolute resilience! Due to a mechanical issue, they were stuck in an elevator for two full hours, in unusually hot day of October,  just before stepping in front of the camera. Instead of letting the delay sour the mood, they faced the incident with wonderful positivity and exceptional team spirit.

Their infectious good humour and ability to stay calm under pressure didn’t just save the day—it made it unforgettable. It was a true pleasure working with such a tough, positive, and happy group, and the resulting photos reflect that amazing energy! I’m delighted by the confidence and strong presence captured in these shots.

It has been my honour that the association chose me for this incredible project! Let’s make 2025-2026 their best year ever!

In this session day, we’re diving into the joy of Shichi-Go-San (Seven-Five-Three)! This significant Japanese ritual of passage, celebrating the health and growth of three and seven-year-old girls and five-year-old boys, is always a beautiful event. I feel incredibly privileged and honoured to have been asked to document this family’s happiness. To see such a cherished tradition from Japan celebrated with such elegance and meaning here in Canada makes the moment even more magical. My sincerest hope is that this day is wonderfully memorable and provides the whole family with treasured photos for years to come.

What a fantastic day it was at the University of Ottawa’s iconic Tabaret Hall! We had an absolute blast capturing the new professional profile photos for the incredible team ADIUO, Association de droit immobilier de l’Université d’Ottawa.

The setting was simply magical—that beautiful architecture and the perfect stream of natural light created a splendid backdrop. I’m genuinely thrilled with how sharp and confident these images turned out, and I’m certain they will give a huge boost to all of their 2025–2026 initiatives.
